Your tender cited above for the Mechanized cleaning contract of Alwaye Railway Station for a
period of two years (730 days) at the rate of Rs. 7120.00 + service tax per day and total value of Rs.
51,97,600.00 + service tax for total manpower, machinery and consumables has been accepted.
Please arrange to carry out the work from 07.05.2017 to 06.05.2019 as per the terms and conditions
already notified vide this office tender Notice No.V/MD.52 / Contracts / AWY/ 16-18, Dt. 15.12.2016.
The cleaning schedule, deployment of manpower, uniforms to the staff employed etc. as mentioned
in the tender conditions should be strictly followed.
You are hereby advised to submit a Performance Guarantee valid up to the stipulated date of
completion plus 60 days beyond that for a sum of Rs. 2,98,862.00 (as notified in Annexure B-page 22-
23 of tender form. The deposit receipt should be in lien in favour of Sr. Divisional Finance Manager,
Southern Railway, Trivandrum) and to sign the agreement within 15 days.
The Bill towards the work done may be submitted at the end of every month in triplicate duly
pre-receipted to this office through Health Inspector/AWY for arranging payment.
The receipt of this letter may please be acknowledged.

4. The successful bidder shall have to submit a performance Guarantee (PG) with in 30 (thirty) days
from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance (LOA). Extension of time for submission of PG
beyond 30(thirty) days and up to 60 days from the date of issue of LOA may be given by the
authority who is competent to sign the contract agreement. However a penal interest of 15% per
annum shall be charged for the delay beyond 30(thirty) days, i.e from 31st day after the date of
