In continuation of instruction referred at ref (1) and as requested vide ref (2) above it is advised as under: “Where ever electric bike with lithium battery/lithium ion battery is booked for transportation in brake vans of passenger carrying trains, it should be ensured that the battery is kept in disconnected mode and proper packing condition, to avoid leakage etc.," 2.
