The issue regarding commission payable to the halt contractors has been under
review in the Board’s office for quite some time. It has now been decided that in partial

modification of above noted Board’s circular dated 17.5.99 ibid, para V may be read as
under :- - . ,

Vv The commission payable to the halt contractors will be as under:

Sales turnover in Rs. Commission payable

_ 1-15,000 15% (minimum Rs. 500/-)
15,001-50,000 12%
30,001-1,00,000 ' 9%
1,00,001-2,00,000 6%
2,00,001 and above 3% ..

If the sales turnover is Rs.
of 35000 + 9% of 50,000 + 6%
6000 + 3000 = Rs. 19,950,

3,00,000, the commission would be 15% of 15000 + 12%

Kindly acknowledge receipt.
