Sub: Entitlement of travel by Jan Shatabdi Express Trains on
Duty/Privilege/Post-Retirement Passes
Instructions were issued by Establishment Directorate of this office vide
letter No. ECW)2000PS5-1/17 dated 17,12.2004(copy enclosed) advising that the
of seats which can be booked against Duty Privilege/Post Retirement
Coruplémentary Passes in 25 Class of Jan Shatabdi Express trains shali be same
as are available in other Mail/Express trains. In case of Chair Car, the
entitlement shall be same as is available in Shatabdi Express trains
Tt has been further decided that the earmarking of Duty Pass Quota in 25
class of Jan Shatabdi Express trains may be done away with and the booking in
these trains against Duty/Prvilege/Post Retirement Complimentary passes in this
class will be done against general quota. CRIS has informed that the change
required in the software has been carried out to enable Duty/Privilege/Post
Retirement complimentary pass holders to book ticket in 25 class of Jan Shatabdi
Express trains against general quota just like other Mail/Express trains. The same
has been released online on 19,9.2006. A copy of CRIS’s letter No.
CRIS/PRS/R.B.Corresp/189-P1-f dated 18.9.2006 is enclosed
Necessary action may please be taken under intimation to all concemed,
Kindly acknowledge receipt of the letter.

विषय : अयूटी/सुविधा/सेवोत्तर पासों पर जन शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस
गाड़ियों द्वारा चात्री की पात्रता,
इस कार्यालय के स्थापना निदेशालय द्वारा 17.12.2004 के पंत्र सं. ई (wee) 2000/पी एस
5-1/17 के तहत अनुदेश जारी किए गए थे, जिसमें सूचित किया गया है कि सीटों की संख्या, जो जम
शतान्दी एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों की 2 एस श्रेणी में ड्यूटी/सुविधा/सेवोत्तर मानार्थ पार्सों के अंतर्गत बुक की
जा सकती हैं, उतनी ही होंगी, जितनी कि अन्य मेल/एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों में निर्धारित हैं. कुर्सीयान के
मामले में, पात्रता उसी प्रकार होगी जैसी कि शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों के लिए निर्धारित है.
आगे यह विनिश्चय किया गया है कि जन शताब्दों एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों की 2 एस श्रेणी में ड्यूटी
पास कोट का निर्धारण समाप्त कर दिया जाएं और इन गाड़ियों में इस श्रेणी में ड्यूटी/सुविधा/सेवोत्तर
मानार्थ पासों के अंतर्गत बुकिंग सामान्य कोटा के अंतर्गत की भाएगी. क्रिस ने सुच्चित किया है कि
सॉफ्टेवयर में अपेक्षित परिवर्तन किए गए हैं ताकि ड्यूटी/सुदिधा/सेवोत्तर मानार्थ पासधारी अन्य
मेल/ एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों की तरह ही सामान्य कोटा के अंतर्गत जन शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों के 2 एस
श्रेणी में टिकट aa करा सर्के. इसे 19.9.2006 को ऑनलाइन रिलीज कर दिया ग
