(Commercial Circular No. 78 of 2006) Sub: Provision of Tatkal Scheme in Garib Rath Express trains. Garib Rath Trains are being introduced on Indian Railways shortly. These trains will run with AC-III GR and AC-CC GR coaches. The issue regarding earmarking of Tatkal accommodation in these trains has been examined and the following decisions have been taken:- (i) 30% of the available accommodation in each class in these trains may be earmarked under Tatka] Scheme. (ii) Tatkal charges to be levied for issuing of tickets under Tatkal scheme in these trains will be as under:- NOTE: If the occupancy of the train is 80% or higher, charges applicable for "other tban non-peak period" will apply for the entire year.
