National Train Enquiry System (NTES) is a system which is available at all the
Control Offices of indian Railways. NTES server is getting connected to a website
Www. ntes.indianrail. gov.in , specifically earmarked so that late running position. of
trains can also be seen on website. Necessary software has already been developed by
CRIS. There is also Indian Railway’s website www. indianrail. 0४110 ,

During accidents and untoward incidents following action should be taken by the
Zonal Railways:-

1, Reservation Charts of the train which has met with an accident should be
made available on the NTES website and Indian Railway website
immediately as soon as accident happens,

2. The Form one which gives the reasons of accident and affected section
and the likely time to be taken for restoration should also be fed in the
form one enclosed in the terminal of NTES server.

3. List of affected passengers, details of injured and details of dead should
) also be updated in the server getting data from accident site.

4, The address of the website should be advertised in the Newspapers and
also given to various media for publicity.

5. Above information should be enabled electronically on all face to face
