Instructions already exist in Commercial Circular no. 42/2013 for booking of retiring rooms through IRCTC Website. Further, in partial modification to the -existing guidelines issued through above said circular, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) have now decided the following: Para 2.19 may be read as under: e Charges for Retiring rooms booked through the internet will be apportioned to the Zonal Railways on the basis of actual earnings of the concerned Railway. Accounting reports may be generated showing the apportioned earnings of each station and each division also.
