Government of India Ministry of Railways Railway Board No. 2009/TGIV/15/RR/1 New Delhi, Dt: 24 12.2016 Chief Commercial Managers, All Zonal Railways, (Commercial Circular No. 80/2016) Sub: Provision of 5% discount in online payment of booking of Retiring Rooms etc. In pursuance of. announcement made by the Government of India for promotion of digital and cashless economy, Ministry of Railways have decided to allow 5% discount for booking of retiring rooms through digital means. These instructions shall be made effective from 1s January, 2017. IRCTC shall prepare monthly report (MIS) with details of discount disbursed under this scheme and furnish the same to Railway Board positively by 7 day of the next month.
