कि Sub: -Priogity.in the matter of reservation for rail travel by
Members of the Press Council of India.
Please refer to this Office letter’ of even number dated 28.8.2001 on the
subject quoted above wherein a list of Metabers of Press Council of India was
forwarded for extending necessary assistance to them in the matter of grant of
priority in rail reservation. It is further advised that Shri Justice P.B.Sawant,
who was the Chairman of the Press. Council of India, has. since retired and Shri
Justice K.Jayachandra Reddy, a retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India,
has taken over ‘charge of the Chairman, Press Cowncil of India w.e.f..8.8.2001.

issued. to all concerned for extending assistance to Justice K.Jayachandra
