(Commercial Circular no. +3 of 2018) Sub: Modification in the Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) scheme. The scheme of YTSK was introduced vide Commercial Circular no. 33 of 2014 and provisions of the scheme have been modified vide CC nos. 35, 37, 39, 40 & 45 of 2014 and 21&59 of 2015, 55 of 2017 and 41 of 2018. 1.1 In response to queries raised by Zonal Railways, three (03) more issues have been examined in this office. Issues raised and the decisions taken thereon, item-wise, are as follows:- i. Allowing YTSKs, already operating at one location, to operate at an additional location simultaneously: YTSKs may be allowed to have additional locations. However, each location may be considered as a new proposal with a separate agreement and all necessary charges may be paid separately. ii. Limit on calling of application for YTSK allotment: The limit for calling applications for YTSK allotment may be fixed as twice a year ie. in January and July. iii, Decision on the number of YTSKs to be engaged at a location: The decision on the number of YTSKs to be engaged at any location may be taken by Zonal Railways concerned keeping in view the demand pattern and the geographical conditions of that area. iv. Treating Retail Service Provider (RSP) as agent of IRCTC while considering his/her application for engagement as YTSK: RSP may be treated as agent of IRCTC while considering his/her application for engagement as YTSK. 2, Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned accordingly.
