COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. 72 of 2008 Sub: Installation of ATMs at 1833 railway stations by 15 banks Ref: Board’s letter of even no. dated 19.5.2008 Board’s letter no. 2006/TG-I/10/P/ATM dated 16.4.2008 = Please refer to Board’s letters under reference wherein the validity of MoU signed between Ministry of Railways with State Bank, Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank, . Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Dena Bank and Bank of Baroda for installation of © ATMs at 1393 locations and the time period for installation of ATMs at 440 locations by 8 other banks (Indian Overseas Bank, Bank of India, J & K Bank, UCO Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Rajasthan and AXIS Bank) were extended upto 30" Sept 2008. Since the banks have encountered a number of difficulties in installation of ATMs, _ they have requested to extend the validity period. _ The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the validity period of the same upto 3 1* March 2009. Zonal Railways may take all necessary steps to ~ ensure expeditious installation of ATMs as per terms and conditions mentioned in MoU cand Standard Agreement. ge (SANJAY sna A) Dy Director, Traffic Commercial (G)-II Railway Board.
