Board's letter No. 2003/TG.III/600/5 dated 16.03.2005 (Commercial Circular of 8 of2005). 2. Board's letter No. 2005/TG.III/600/5 dated 23.12.2005. Ref:-. General and Eligibility conditions for contracts awarded by IRCTC was prescribed vie Board's letter No. 2005/TG.III/600/5 dated 23.12.2005, after issuance of Revised Catering Polic 2005 dt. 2I.I2.2005, (Commercial Circular No. 56 of 2005). 2. Board' has decided that the following amendment should be effected in para no. 1.3. (Hi)of Board's letter No. 2005/TG.III/600/5 dated 23.12.2005, regarding guidelines on genen conditions and eligibility conditions for contracts awarded by IRCTC for mobile catering for oth( Mail/Express trains:- (a) Existing turnover criteria IRs. 3 crore per annum I Mobile catering on other mail/express trains b Revised turnover criteria Rs. 3 crore per annum Mobile catering on all Superfast trains h,aving !lntry car with journey time of more than 24 hours. Rs. 2 crores per annum I Mobile catering on all Supenast trains having pantry car with journey time upto 24 hours and all MaiI/Express trains haying pantry car. IRs. 1 crore per annum I Mobile catering through train side vending for all trains munine: without pantry car. Contd 2/- 3. Para 4 of Commercial Circular No. 41 of 2005 issued under letter No. 2000ITG.III/645/ll dated 30.09.2005 in respect of Train Side vending has been revised and the revised instruction areas under:- The licenses for train side vending should bE~'granted by caIling open tender. The eligibility conditions and tendering system as in vogue for mobile catering units will also apply in this case except that the applicant should have a minimum turnover of Rs. 1 crore per annum in catering / hospitality and F&B services related business; The licensee can be permitted to serve a-la-carte items besides standard meals. They :should also serve very good quality products, which should be monitored closely. 4. All other instructions regarding general conditions and eligibility conditions of contracts issued by Board vide letter no. 2005/TGJU/600/5 dated 23.12.2005 for pantry car/train side vending contracts and all existing clauses for other types of catering units will remain unchanged. 5. These instruction will be applicable with immediate effect for all future tenders.
