of even no. dated l2ll3'01'2012'
A review of Catering Policy, 2010 has been undertaken accordingly the
revised para no. 16.1.1 & I8.2 of catering policy,2010 may be read as under &
the same may be followed while u*utding new catering contracts _of pantry
cars/Base Kitchen by following SBD documents of Rajdhani / Duronto /
Shatabdi and Mail ExPress trains :
Para 16: Tenure :
Existing para : f 6.1.1 : Tenure of all major units including food courts, fast
food units (except Food Plazas, Base Kitchins and AVMs) will be for a period of
5 years. There will be no renewals.
Modified Para : 16.1.1 : Tenure of all major units including food courts, fast
food units (except Food Plazas, Mobile Units and Base Kitchen) will be for a
period of 5 years. There will be no renewals. In case of Mobile units and
base Kitchen, the tenure will be 5 years with one renewal for 5 years subject
tosatislactoryperformanceandpaymentofallduesandarrearsand
withdrawal of court cases' if anY.
Para 18 : Fixation of Licence Fee:
Existing Para 18.2 z Minimum licence fee will be .fixed as I2 % of the estimated
annual sales turnover for static units, mobile units of Ordinary Mail / Express
trains and premiu* sipe, fast trains and I5 % for Raidhani / Shatabdi trains /
Duronto tiains of the-annual sales turnover based on actual occupancy figures
certified by the Train Superintendent'
Modified Para 18.2 : Minimum licence fee will be Jixed as 12 % of the
estimuted annual sales turnover for Ststic Units, I0 % of the unnual sales
turnover for mobile anits of Ordinary Mail / Express trains and premium super
fast trains and for Rajdhani /Shatabdi/Duronto trains, 10 % of the annual
sales turnover based on actual occapancy Jigures certiJied by the Train
Saperintendent.
This issues with the approval of competent authority and concurgence
of
Finance Directorate of Railway Board.
