Board's letter No.97/TG.I1V/600/12, Dated: 20,10,2000. 2, Central Railway's No.C. ] 80F/639/V/Policy dt: 27.04.2001 Central Railway vide their letter dated: 27.04.01 have solicited Board’s guidelines _ regarding application of new catering policy (Paras 14,5, 14.6.4 and 14.9) on renewals of existing licences regarding fixation of licence fee and requirement of security deposit at the time of renewal. The matter has been examined in consultation with Railway Board Finance. Views of Southern Railway, who have recently renewed the licence of 2429/30 SBC-NZM Rajdhani Express train, have also been obtained. In view of the above the following clarifications are issued. ae ं OL For other than Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains a lumpsum licence fee ig prescribed Which should not be less than 12% of the assessed sales tumover. At the time of a previous turnover or 12% of revised sales turnover which ever is higher. 2, For Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains the minimum license fee has been prescribed @15% of sales tumover based on occupancy which is certified by Train Supdt. At the time of renewal also licence fee would be at the prevailing rates, which is presently 15%, | 3. Security deposit equal to 5% of the assessed turnover will have to be deponited by the licencees at the time of renewal since the licence can be renewed only 88 _ per the terms and conditions given in the new policy , which prescribes collection of security deposit equal to 5% of the assessed sales turnover, This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate y Rajlway Board, ‘ Ab CYOGENTPRA SHARMA) DIRECTQ@R/CATERING RAILWAY BOARD .
