KKK The thickness of the thermal stationery and inner core of thermal roll proposed to be used for UTS thermal ticket & ETM ticket has been examined and the following has been decided:- Ai). (ii) 1.1 UTS:- Keeping in view the printing of GST (Goods & Services Tax) related information on the UTS thermal tickets, the dimension of UTS thermal stationery has been revised to 81mm (width) x 106mm (length) for UTS printer with printable area of 77mm x 102mm. The thickness of thermal stationery would be 100 GSM + 2.5%. The outer diameter of the inner ‘core of thermal roll has been reduced from 45mm + imm to 35mm = imm.: ETM:- Keeping in view the printing of GST related information on the ETM thermal tickets, the dimension of ETM ticket thermal stationery has been revised to 74mm (width) x 104mm (length) for ETM ticket printer. The thickness of the thermal stationery would be 80 GSM + 2.5%, The outer diameter of the inner core has been kept as 20mm + 1mm. CRIS will explore the feasibility of printing the two messages- “Passenger Helpline No. 138” and, “IR recovers only 57% of the cost of travel on an average” on the front side of the ticket along with the GST related information. However, if it is not feasible due to paucity of space, both or either of the two messages may be taken to the back side of the ticket. नल न 2. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned.
