Sub: System Improvement for Foreign Tourist Quota in respect of Foreign
Senior Citizens.

As per S.No.38 of IRCA Coaching Tariff No. 26 Part-I (Vol.I]J concession is
admissible to Male Senior Citizen of the age of 60 years and above and 58 years & above
in case for Women Senior citizen. Vide Para No.19 of Rule No.101, Chapter I of IRCA
Coaching Tariff No.26 Part-I (Vol.I) Foreign nationals/NRIs are also eligible for such
concessions

2. Ministry of Railways have now decided to grant concession in passenger fare only
to Senior Citizen of Indian Nationality, permanently residing in India of the age of 60 years
and above for Men Senior citizen and 58 years and above in case for Women Senior

citizen. The revised rule for concession to Senior Citizen should be as under:- .

Revised Rule
A Senior Citizen of Indian Nationality,

Existng Rule
Male Senior Citizen of the
age-of 60 years and above '
and 58 years & above in
case for women senior
citizen.

Further, the following may be added below Para No.19 of Rule No.101, Chapter J of
IRCA Coaching Tariff No.26 Part-I (Vol.ID)

‘However, Senior Cititzen concession shall not be admissible to the senior citizen of

foreign nationals & NRIs.’

3. This will be implemented with immediate effect.

4. Other terms and conditions shall remain the same.

5. CRIS may make necessary changes in the software.
6. Necessary instructions shall be issued to the all-concerned.
