Please refer to Northern Railways' letter No. 11 CT/3DA-282-
99 dated 17.8.99 on the above noted subject wherein a clarification
has been sought as to whether Sr. Citizen concession is to be given in
the booking made against Foreign Tourist Quota.
. The matter has been examined in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board) and it has been decided that concessions on Indian
Railways are admissible irrespective of the nationality of the person
ie. concession is admissible to Indian Nationals/Foreign
Nationals/Tourists/NRIs subject to the fulfillmert-of prescribed
conditions. A copy of the instructions is enclosed. As such all types of
concessions are admissible to the passengers booking their tickets
under FT Quota
