No.2002/TG.1/20/P New Delhi, dated: /0 .07.2003

The Chief Commercial Managers,
All Zonal Railways.

(Commercial Circular No. 37 0f 2003)
Sub: Issuing of tickets against foreign tourist quota.

As per extant practice tickets against foreign tourist quota are
issued from the nominated counters subject to fulfillment of prescribed
conditions. A reference was received from Central Railway wherein they
had suggésted'that instructions may be issued to all zonal railways: not to
utilise foreign tourist quota in the trains originating from other zonal
railways, i.e., foreign tourist quota should be utilised by the train source
location only

The matter has been reviewed and Ministry of Railways has
decided that after networking, the restriction for utilizing foreign tourist
quota at train source location is not desirable and as such free access
should 9४. given to the nominated counters on zonal railways for issue of
tickets from:anywhere to anywhere against foreign tourist quota subject to
fulfillment of the prescribed conditions
