Sub: Station Ticket Booking Sewak (STBS) scheme — Clarification
regarding payment of conunission,

Ref: Commercial Circulars No, 66/2013, 70/2013, 11/2014, and 30/2014,

Southern Railway have raised a query regarding payment of commission to
STBS from Stations earnings since provision in para 2425 of IRCM (Vol-ID does not
specifically mentions withdrawal of station earnings for such payment to STBS.

2. The matter has been examined in consultation with Finance and Accounts
Directorates of Ministry of Railways. It is clarified that commission to STBS may be
paid from the station carmings as is being done in case of Halt Agents in terms of para
2425 clause 28 of IRCM (Vol-Il).

करने के संबंध में स्पष्टीकरण]

संदर्भ: वाणिज्य परिपत्र सं. 66/2013, 70/2013, 11/2014 एवं 30/2014

दक्षिण रेलवे ने, स्टेशन की आमदनी से एसटीबीएस को कमीशन का भुगतान करने के
संबंध में स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है क्योंकि आईआरसीएम (वॉल-1।) के पैरा 2425 के प्रावधानों में,
स्टेशन की आमदनी में से एसटीबीएस को कमीशन का भुगतान करने के लिए विशिष्ट रूप से
कोई उल्लेख नहीं है।

2, रेल मंत्रालय के वित्त एवं लेखा निदेशालयों के परामर्श से इस मामले की जांच की गई
है। यह स्पष्ट किया जाता है कि स्टेशन की आमदनी में से एसटीबीएस को कमीशन का
भुगतान किया जा सकता है, जैसा कि आईआरसीएम (वॉल-1|) के खंड 28 के पैरा 2425 के
अनुसार See एजेंटों के मामले में किया जा रहा है।

3. सभी संबधितों को आवश्यक अनुदेश जारी किए जाएं।

4. इसे रेल मंत्रालय के वित्त एवं लेखा निदेशालयों की सहमति से जारी किया जाता है।
