Authorisation of Rail Travellers' Service Agents (Amendment) Rule, 1999, shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette,

New Delhi, dated 27.09,1999 The Chief Commercial Managers, All Zonal Railways: ( Commercial Circular No. 35 of 1999) Sub: Authorisation of Rail Travellers' Service Agents (Amendment) Rule, 1999, 7 Please refer to Board's letter of even number dated 04.05.1999 on the _ above noted subject forwarding therewith a copy of the Gazette of India Notification No.S.O,245(E) dated 12.04.1999, regarding increase in the license fee, security deposit and Bank Guarantee of RTSAs. Central _ Railway in this connection have sought clarification whether the revised fee are to be collected from the RTSAs whose license have been renewed prior. पा (0 April-1999 (prior to. publication of Gazette Notification) or it will be ‘applicable at the.time of next renewal only. In this connection, it is clarified that in the Notification mentioned above, it has been mentioned clearly that RTSA's Amendment Rules'99 shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette, i.e, 12.04.1999. The matter has further been examined in consultation with the Legal and Finance Directorates of Ministry of Railways (Railway - Board) and it has been decided that the revised licence fee, security deposit and bank guatantee shall be applicable in respect of licences issued or - renewed on or after. 12.04.1999. For past period, the position will be — _ reviewed and position intimated in due course.
