Sub: Installation of Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs).
Please refer to this office letter of even number
dated 22.1.2001 (Commercial Circular No. 3 of 2001) wherein
detailed guidelines were issued to zonal railways for
installation of Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs). In item 2
of para VIII of these guidelines, it was advised that the
banks must have atleast 3 Automatic Teller Machines
operating in the city serving the station where it is
proposed to install the machines.
The matter has been reviewed in this office and it has
been decided that the condition of having at least 3 ATMs
by any bank interested to install ATMs at any location may
be waived completely. Necessary instruction may be issued
to all concerned.
This issues with concurrence of Finance Directorate
of Ministry of Railways. 6)

कृपया इस कार्यालय के 22. 1.2001 के समसंख्यक पत्र (2001 का 'वाणिज्य परिपत्र सं. 3) का
अवलोकन करें जिसमें आटोमैटिक टेलर मशीन (ए टी एम ) लगाने के लिए क्षेत्रीय रेलों को विस्तृत
मार्गनिदेश जारी किए गए थे. इन मार्गनिदेशों के पैरा VIN की मद 2 में यह सूचित किया गया था कि उस
स्टेशन जहाँ मशीनें लगाने का प्रस्ताव हो, को सेवित करने वाले शहर में बैंकों की कम से कम 3 आटोमैटिक
टेलर मशीनें परिचालित et.
मामले की इस कार्यालय में समीक्षा की गई है तथी यह fare किया गया है कि किसी भी स्थान
पर आटोमैटिक टेलर मशीन लगाने के इच्छुक किसी भी बैंक द्वारा वहां कम से कम 3 आटोमैटिक टेलर
मशीने लगाने की शर्त को पूर्णतया हटा दिया जाए. सर्वसंबंधित को ज़ावश्यक अतुदेश जारी किए जाएं.
