(COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO.30 OF 2012) Sub: Prevention of reservation through PRS in case of lost Metal Passes/ Card Passes Please refer to this office letter No.2003/TG.1/20/P dated 24.06.2005 (Commercial Circular No.25 of 2005) on the subject quoted above wherein the procedure to be adopted in case of lost Metal Passes/Card Passes has been advised, | 2. It has been reported by Vigilance Directorate that during preventive checks, it has been found that lost metal token passes were not being entered into in the PRS to prevent further booking of tickets on such passes. It was also found that these tokens were being misused by imposters without getting the reserved tickets issued on such passes. 3. It is desired that necessary instructions may be issued fo all concerned to ensure feeding of details of lost metal passes in the PRS without fail. 3.1 Ticket Checking Staff may also be advised to make hecessary entry in the reservation charts as well as EDR regarding the number of officers found travelling in the train on the authority of metal token passes without getting the ticket reserved through PRS.
