Ref: Commercial Circular no. 05 of 2022 dated 24.02.2022. Vide above mentioned instruction, it was decided to permit quarterly, half-yearly and yearly season tickets in AC EMU/DEMU/MEMU as per existing provisions contained in Rule no. 242 of IRCA Coaching Tariff no. 26 Part 1 (Vol 1) & Commercial Circular no. 02 of 2013 dated 04.01.2023 @ 2.7, 5.4 & 10.8 times of monthly season ticket fare applicable for AC locals respectively on an experimental basis. 2. Ministry of Railways have further reviewed the above scheme and has decided to continue it till further advice. 3. CRIS is requested to make necessary changes if any required. 4. The receipt of the letter may be acknowledged. Also please check these instructions on the Indian Railways website- www.indianrailways.gov.in under the head commercial circulars.
