All Indian Railways : Sub:Provision of issuing of Half yearly and Yearly season tickets . AS per. existing provisions contained in Rule no. 242 of IRCA | Coaching Tariff no. 26 part | (Vol I), season tickets are issued as Monthly season tickets and Quarterly season tickets. - It has been decided to introduce Half Yearly season tickets (HST) and Yearly season tickets (YST) in- addition to the provision of Monthly season _ tickets & Quarterly season tickets fo all categories of passengers including senior citizens. However, the Izzat MST Pass/Free MST for students shall continue to be issued only on monthly. basis. Similarly, the concessional season tickets issued to students shall be issued on Monthly/Quarterly basis - only. HST and YST shall be chargeable at 5.4 times. and 10.8 times of Monthly season tickets (MST) respectively. This ratio shall also be applicable for both first class and second class season tickets 2, As in the case of Monthly & Quarterly season tickets, no refund sha be permissible for HST and YST also. Accordingly, wide publicity may be given that season tickets are non-refundable and also be printed on the season tickets 3, This scheme will come iuto effect from 01.04.2013.
