Sub: Reservations on Circular Route Tickets.
Please refer to Board's instructions of even number . dated
22.04.1999 on the subject quoted above wherein it has been advised that
circular route journey ticket holders may be allowed to get thet
reservation done from one nominated counter by standing in queue only
once irrespective of the number of reservation being sought on one
circular ticket subject to the condition that the reservations are being
sought for the same party
A complaint has been received that these instructions are not
‘being honoured by the raihway staff on the plea that there is no
nominated counter for the reservation: for circular route ticket, these
orders cannot: be enforced by Reservation in-charge, The matter has
been re-examined in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) and it has
been decided that where separate .counter(s) is/are available, the
reservations on citcular route tickets may be done from the separate
counter. On those locations where separate counter(s) is/ are not
available, reservations on circular tickets will be done from uormal
counters only
All concerned may be advised accordingly. .
