Sub: Policy for implementation of ‘One Station One Product Scheme’ - Union budget announcement 2022-
23. .
Ref: Commercial Circular No 12/2022 dated 20.05.2022.

The policy circular for One Station One Product Scheme was brought out on 20.05.2022 vide CC 12 of
2022. As per the policy, allotment of OSOP outlets will be based on the priority register for a maximum
period of 15 days only in one spell. A nominal registration fee of Rs 1000/- (inclusive of GST), on lump
sum basis irrespective to type and size of the outlet is to be charged for the allotment period of 15 days.

Several Zonal Railways have suggested to review the registration fee and duration of OSOP outlet allotment
on the basis of experience gained in on-going pilot project.

The issue has been examined in Board’s office and it has been decided to modify the following paras of CC
12 of 2022:

Para 4 (b): Standardised OSOP outlets will be
constructed by Zonal Railways as per designs
provided by Railway Board

(i) Size of fixed stalls shall be either 6’ X 5’ or
6’ X 10’ depending upon the space available at
the station. The height is standardised as 7’
(inside) and 9’ (overall).

(ii) Size and design of portable/ mobile trolleys
will be provided by the Railway Board. Width
of the trolley to be not more than 3’ (ft).

Para 6 (g): AHotment will be made based on
the priority roster for a maximum period of 15
days only in one spell. This would continue till
all applicants in the priority roster are
exhausted.

Para 4 (b):
constructed by Zonal Railways as per designs provided
by National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and
approved by Railway Board.

Para 6 (g): Allotment will be made based on the
priority roster. The normal duration of allotment of
OSOP Outlets will be for a period of 15 days.
However, DRMs may decide to allot an OSOP outlet
for a maximum duration of 30 days depending upon
the availability of applications/ interest shown etc.
This would continue till-all applicants in the priority
roster are exhausted.

DRMs may also permit OSOP outlet allocations for
shorter durations especially during festivals/ fairs etc.

Para 7: Registration fee and other charges
(a) The objective of this scheme is not to earn

revenue for Railways but to showcase and
promote the indigenous products and provide
opportunity to earn livelihood through skill
development of the local artisans, weavers,
craftsmen/ craftswomen etc. A nominal
registration fee of Rs 1000/- (inclusive of
GST), on lump sum basis irrespective of type
and size of the outlet is to be charged for the
allotment period of 15 days.

(a) The objective of this scheme is not to earn revenue
for Railways but to showcase and promote the
indigenous products and provide opportunity to earn
livelihood through skill development of the local
artisans, weavers, craftsmen/ craftswomen etc.

The normal duration of allotment of OSOP Outlets
will be for a period of 15 days with a nominal
registration fee of Rs 1000 (inclusive of GST) on lump
sum basis. However, DRMs may decide to allot an
OSOP outlet for a maximum duration of 30 days
depending upon the availability of applications/
interest shown etc with a registration fee of Rs 2000/-
(inclusive of GST) on lump sum basis irrespective of
type and size of outlet.

For NSG-5 and NSG-6 stations registration fee may be
Rs 500 for a 15 day period and Rs 1000 for a 30 day
period subject to justification (low passenger footfall,
stall viability etc) with the approval of DRM.

DRMs may permit OSOP outlet allocations for shorter
durations especially during festiv
