Sub:- Clarification regarding maximum 20 units of electricity per OSOP outlet for one spell of
15 days.

Ref:- CCM/PS/SCR’s letter no. C.5/G-1/OSOP/2022 dated 02.04.2024.
(ii) CC 09 of 2023 dated 24.05.2023.

Vide letter under reference above, SCR has sought clarification that in case OSOP outlets are
alloted for more than 15 day period of 30/45/60/75/90 days, whether 20 units of electricity
should be permitted for each spell of 15 days during the allotment period of OSOP outlet.

2. In this regard, SCR may refer to CC 09 of 2023 wherein it has clearly been stated "4
maximum of 20 units of electricity per OSOP outlet shall be permitted for one spell of 15 days

as basic facilitation subsumed in the registration charges. For additional units of electricity
over and above the limit of 20 units, the applicable charges shall apply on actual basis".

3. As such, it is clarified that the above Board’s instructions are applicable for each spell of 15

days. Necessary action may be taken accordingly. —_
