Automatic Teller Machines will be Installed at important stations of Indian "allways to facittate the passengers to withdraw cash through their Credit Cards, "These facilities are to be encouraged as these are helpful to the travelling passengers. Initially ATM's shall be permitted on ‘A class stations only, The basic criteria being the availability of a reputed bank to work the AT™s, TT. Working of ATMs "ATMs ‘will’ be installed’ and operated by reputed banks: which ‘will ‘be selected for offers from artiongst’ reputed banks through press’ advertisements. The financial bid of those banks which are Sultable should be opened and contract awarded to highest bidder, A Committee of JA Grade officers belonging to Commercial, Accounts and Engineering Departments Is required to be formed for evaluating the offers.
