Sub: Norms for recruitment of sportspersons in Indian Railways in Cricket game discipline. Ref: (i) Board's letter No. 2010/E (Sports)/4(1)/1 (policy) dated 31.12.2010 (RBE No. 189/2010) and clarifications/ corrigendum issued thereto. (ii) Board's letter No, 2018/E(Sports)/4(1)/14, dated 13.08.2019. (iii) Board's letter No, 2022/E(Sports)/4(1)/14/Gr.D, dated 04.01.2023. The revised sports norms for recruitment of sportspersons in Indian Railways in Pay Level-1 were issued vide this office's letter mentioned under reference (iii). Some of the Zonal Railways have approached this office for review/clarification in regard to the norms for recruitment in Cricket game discipline in different pay levels. 2. In view of above, the recruitment norms for cricket game discipline have been reviewed in this office and in supersession of earlier instructions in this regard, it has been decided to revise the norms for recruitment of sportspersons in Indian Railways in the game discipline of Cricket (Men & Women) as under : Pay Level Minimum Sports Norms GP-4200 (Level-6) Representation in Main Indian Seniors Team in 2 Test Matches/ Limited Overs One Day International Matches / Twenty-20 Matches. GP-2800/2400 (Level-5/4) | Representation of India~A and India U-19 Team in 2 Test Matches / 2 Limited Overs One Day International Matches / 2 Twenty-20 Overs Matches. GP-2000/1900 (Level-3/2) | (i) Quarter finalist in Senior/ U-23/ U-19 All India Inter State Group Championships (Except plate group) OR (ii) Participation in Senior/U-23/ U-19 All India Inter-zonal Championship. oR (iii) Participation in Senior/U-23/ 0-19 Challenger Trophy. GP-1800 (Level-1) Pre- Quarter finalist in Senior/ U-23/ U-19 All India Inter State Championships (Except plate group). INANE Contet= 2] — — देना 3.
