NORTHEAST FRONTIER RAILWAY Sub.- Notification for Selection of ACM(Gr. "B') - 30% LDCE through CBT Ref: Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 14.12.2023 & No. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 14.03.2024. 1. Railway Board vide letter dated 14.12.2023 decided that a special Group 'B' Selection drive shall be carried out to fill up the gazetted vacancies prevailing on the Railways by holding another round of 70% Selection and 30% LDCE through centralized CBT for promotion to Group 'B' posts by NAIR. In this regard the break up of vacancies to be reckoned for being filled up through this special drive is given as under:. i) All unfilled vacancies of 70% Selection conducted in the current vacancy cycle of 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2024 to be kept separately. ii) Upto 50% of the STS & upto 100% of the JTS/Gr. A vacancies as on 01.10.2023 may also be downgraded and filled up through this special Gr. B selection. These vacancies may be distributed between both 70% Selection and subsequent 30% LDCE. ii) The extra round of Special examination shall be governed by the extant instructions governing promotion to Group ´B' posts. Office of the General Manager(P) Maligaon, Guwahati-11 Dated: 18-04-2024. iv) The cut-off date for assessment of eligibility of candidates of this extra round of examination shall be retained as 01.01.2023. Further, Railway Board vide letter dated 14.03.2024 has advised that the 30% LDCE through Centralized CBT under the special Group '8' selection drive shall be conducted by NAIR, tentatively on 23rd June, 2024. UR 01 2. Vacancies Assessed:- As such, it has been decided with the approval of competent authority to hold a selection for forming a panel of the following vacancy SC Ni 3. Condition of eligibility: ST Nil Total 01 PwBD NIL (0) As per Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2019/2/25 dated 27.12.2019 (RBE No. 216/2019) the eligibility criteria is given below: Group-'C employees working in level-6 and above in Pay Matrix with S years of non-fortuitous service as on in level-6 and above in Pay Matrix (including non-fortuitous service rendered in the corresponding pre-revised grade pay) will be eligible. (ü) In terms of Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)88/2/54 dated 31.01.1992, Group 'C' employees working as Law Assistants/Chief Law Assistants, fulfilling the above service criteria are also eligible to appear in the said LDCE. (i) As per Railway Board's letter No. E(NG)1-81/PMI/76 dated 25.04.1981 and No. E(NG)|-93/PMI/4 dated 18.01.1993, the time spent by a railway servant under training immediately before appointment to service to be counted as non-fortuitous service for the purpose of appearing in LDCE(Group 'B') selection. (iv) The cut of date of eligibility on the length of required years of non-fortuitous services of the staff of commercial department is as on 01.01.2023. (v) All the volunteers, who fulfill the conditions of eligibility as mentioned vide (i), (ii), (ii) & (iv) above, will be allowed to appear in the written examination (CBT), without any restriction to the number of candidates. LDCE will be one stage only and will comprise of only 1 Paper with the following set up: (a) Single paper of 150 marks comprising 100% Objective type Multiple Choice Questions with following distribution of marks: (a)()Technical (Professional) subject (a)(i) General Knowledge including optional Quest
