20.05.2024. Inspectors and Sr. Wagon Movement
Inspectors working in Level-7, vide
Benefit of upgradation to Chief Catering | Board’s letter no. No. PC-
Inspectors has been extended by WR | VII/2019/RSRP/3 dated 01.12.2022
and SER. (point xi), it was clarified that certain
designations exist in certain Railways
Category of Chief Catering Inspector is only and since, categories of Commercial
covered under _ identically placed | Supdt. and Traffic Inspectors in Level-7
categories; hence, benefit of upgradation | has already been granted the benefit,
should be extended to them. GM/SR & identically placed categories of
GF/SCR have denied the benefit to Traffic/Commercial departments in
Chief Catering Inspectors. Level-7 are part of upgradation as per
RBE No. 155/2022. Since Chief Catering
AIRF requested to issue necessary | Inspector has not been mentioned as such
clarification to all Zonal Railways. it is to be treated as fresh category.

2. It is stated that the issue of upgradation
of fresh categories under the ambit of
RBE No. 155/2022 is under examination.

No. AIRF/53 (213) dated | Various Field Units have raised certain
19.06.2024. issues in connection with annual review.
These issues have been examined and a
Procedural aspects relating to RBE No. | review of existing procedure of
155/2022 : conducting the exercise of 1" phase has
been suggested. The issue is currently
