As atestament to Jan Aushadhi commitment to accessible healthcare for
all, now Jan Aushadhi Kendra's will stand as beacons of affordable and
quality medication for every traveler's need at 50 Indian Railway Stations.
The inauguration took place on 12" March 2024, by Hon’ble PM Narendra
Modi ji as a collective effort towards building a healthier and more
inclusive society.

In collaboration with the Indian Railways, Jan Aushadhi aims to bridge the
gap between healthcare and accessibility, ensuring that no journey is
hindered by the unavailability of essential medicines. With Jan Aushadhi
Kendras now conveniently located at 50 key railway hubs across the
nation, passengers can access a wide range of generic medicines at
economical prices, without compromising on quality.

With the view to augment the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras (JAKs) from 10,000 to 25,000
and provide financial/credit assistance to the Jan Aushadhi Kendra (JAK) owners, PMBI signed
an MoU with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) on 12th March 2024. Shri Ravi
Dadhich, CEO, PMBI and Shri Ravi Tyagi, CGM, SIDBI interchanged the MoU's to show case
importance of collaboration under which the upcoming and existing Jan Aushadhi Kendra
owners Can avail credit benefits for efficient functioning of their ventures.

A website as jak-prayaasloans.sidbi has been also launched during the event to support and
guide the entrepreneurs.

The event was graced by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family
Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Gol; Dr. Arunish Chawla, Secretary, Department of
Pharmaceuticals; Shri R.P. Singh, Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals; Shri

| Celebration of 6" Jan Aushadhi Diwas |

Every year, Jan Aushadhi Diwas is celebrated on 7° of March to commemorate the
achievements of Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana which is aimed at providing high quality generic
medicines at affordable prices. Like every year, this year as well Pharmaceuticals and Medical
Devices Bureau of India, the implementing agency of Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana, celebrated
Jan Aushadhi Diwas in full swing. All the participating Kendras also came forward in their
respective states with full enthusiasm to be a part of these celebrations.

| Celebration of International Women's Day |

Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) celebrated the International
Women's Day at PMBI Head Office on 8" March 2024 under the IWD theme "Inspire
Inclusion". The event aimed to recognize and honour the invaluable contributions of women
in society & organization and promote gender equality within the workplace. The event
encapsulated the spirit of empowerment and solidarity, fostering a supportive environment
for allemployees on receiving a felicitation by CEO, PMBI with goodie bags.
