Sub: Hire Charges on Wagons interchanged - revision of.
1. In terms of Corrigendum No.01 to Rates Circular No.21 of 2020 dated
31.08.2021, the Hire Charges on Wagons interchanged were notified for the period from
01.09.2021 to 31.08.2022.
2. The matter has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided to
revise the rates of the Hire Charges on Wagons interchanged beyond 31.08.2022 as
under:
a) Hire charges for Inter-Railway Financial adjustment:
Workshop Repair Charges
(ii) [Depreciation Charges
|
b) Hire charges for Non-Railway Users:
Workshop Repair Charges
(ii) [Depreciation Charges
Running Repair Charges
Wagon facilitation Charges

3. These Rates shall apply on other types of wagons according to their equation in
terms of 8 wheelers.
4. These rates shall apply to all Port Trust Railways.
5. These rates shall come into force w.e.f. 01.09.2022 and shall remain valid till
31.08.2023.
