Sub: Charging of two-wheelers when loaded in NMGHS wagons Ref: Rates Circular No.32 of 2021 and corrigendum thereto. 1. In terms of Corrigendum No.2 to Rates Circular No.32 of 2021, it was inter-alia communicated that when NMGHS wagons is loaded with two-wheeler traffic, charging will be done at 1.5 times of the freight applicable for NUG wagons. 2. The matter has been reviewed. It has been decided that the charging of two- wheelers traffic when loaded in NAGHS wagon in double stack will continue to be done at 1.5 times of the freight rate applicable for NMG wagon. However, in case two-wheelers traffic is loaded in NUGHS. wagons in single stack, then the charging will be done at par with NMG wagons. 3. Zonal Railway shall verify that double stack loading of two-wheelers in NUGHS wagons is not possible and therefore single stack loading has been done. A certificate to this effect will be issued by concerned station master/goods clerk. 4. All other details of the circular under reference will remain unchanged. 5. These instructions will come into force with effect from 15.09.2024 and will remain valid till further advice. 6.
