1. Reference above, the array of classification of ‘Red Mud’ under Group No.7.(b),
Main Commodity Head ‘Clay and Sand’ in the Goods Tariff No.49 Pt.1, Vol.Il is
as under:

2. The matter has been reviewed and now the Competent Authority have decided to
extend the classification of “Red Mud” as Class-110 beyond 30.09.2024 for a
period of one year i.e. up to 30.09.2025.
3. All others details of the Rates Circulars and its corrigenda mentioned in Para 1.0
above shall continue to apply unchanged.
4. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
