Board’s letter No. TC-II/2046/2012/1 dated 25.09.2013 (FMC 24/2013) (1)In super-session to the Rate Circular Parcel (OT) 06 of 2023 of this zone, a consolidated list of trains (originating on East Central Railway) notified under Rajdhani Parcel Service +25% (R+25%), Rajdhani Parcel Service (Scale-R), Premier Parcel Service (Scale-P) and Standard Parcel Service (Scale-S) for charging of Parcels (non-leased) and Luggage booked through Railways is furnished below for guidance of the staff. The revised Rationalized Rate Structure will be effective from 01 June 2024 to 31% May 2026 i.e. 01.06.2024 to 31-05-2025. Mail/Express trains that will be newly introduced from 01.06.2024 to 31.05.2025 and originating on this Railway will be classified for booking of parcels in Scale ‘P’ (both for leased and non-leased) and in Scale ‘L’ for luggage. (8)Registered Newspapers and Magazines will continue to be booked at concessional rate uniformly at 45% of Scale-S by all trains including Rajdhani trains. (9) These rates shall be applicable to non-leased parcel traffic booked through Railway by various Rail users for transportation of their piecemeal consignments through train service brake vans or parcel vans (non- leased).
