Please refer to ECoR’s letter No.PCCM/95/DC/Pt.V(Part)/ dt.10.03.2023 wherein
Railway has requested for one-time exemption for clearance of manual Demurrage waiver application
pending at Divisional level.
The matter has been examined and Railway’s request has not been agreed to. It is
further clarified that new online waiver module is implemented w.e.f 1.10.2022 only and hence any
pending application prior to 1.10.2022 may be cleared as per the extant procedure at that time.
ECoR is requested to take appropriate action as per extant guidelines and realize all
outstanding.
