Generation of electronic Cash Remittance Note (eCR Note) through Board and it has been decided to discontinue the system of sending physical copy of eCR Note.

Financial Advisor All Zonal Railways Chief Admin Officer FOIS Managing Director CRIS Sub: Generation of electronic Cash Remittance Note (eCR Note) through System (TMS/FOIS) - Online Goods Balance Sheet Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 02.09.2021 Please refer to Board’s letter under reference on the above mentioned subject. The matter has been reviewed in consultation with Accounts directorate of Railway Board and it has been decided to discontinue the system of sending physical copy of eCR Note. All CR Notes for Goods Traffic should be generated through the system (TMS/FOIS) only and be transmitted electronically (non editable read only) to TAMS/IPAS.
