1. Centralized Computer Based (objective type) Test (CBT) was conducted on 04.05.2025,
18.05.2025 & 01.06.2025 (supplementary) in connection with selection for the post of APO
(Group-B)/NFR against 70% quota vacancies for 06 {UR-05, SC-01 & ST-Nil including
PwBD(VI=LV)-01}. In terms of Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2006/2/47 dated
19.03.2010 reiterated vide Railway Board's letter No. E(GP)2024/2128 (E. No. 3466256)
dated 03.02.2025, for viva-voce, successful candidates may be called to the extent of 6
(six) times the number of vacancies separately earmarked for each category i.e., UR, SC &
ST. Further, candidates in respective categories may be called in order of merit.
The list of candidates (18 + 6 + 1=Total-25) arranged in alphabetical order and not as per
seniority or merit, is enclosed as Annexure-A.

Accordingly, the respective Controlling Officers of the candidates concerned are hereby
requested to -
(i) direct them to their nearest medical authorities to obtain physical fitness
certificates to hold the Group-B post of APO against 70% quota vacancies as
per para 530(b) of IRMM/Vol.I mentioned in this office notification dated
13.11.2024 in the standard proforma (enclosed), and
(ii) submit their departmental D&AR clearance in the enclosed format by 18.07.2025
before they appear in the viva-voce test.
3. The Controlling Officers are also requested to send the hard and soft copy (in PDF format)
of the APARs for the year ending 31.03.2020 (i.e., 2019-20) to 31.03.2024 (i.e., 2023-24)
in respect of these candidates to PS-I to PCPO latest by 18.07.2025. In case of any of the
APARs has not been written/not available, the APARs for the preceding year(s) may be
sent along with certificate of non-availability etc.

4. The benchmark for promotion from Group 'C' to Group 'B' service is 'Good', The 5 years
APARs i.e., period ending 31.03.2020 to 31.03.2024 are to be considered by the Selection
Committee. Please ensure that photocopy of APARs has been provided to the staff and
representation, if any, received within the stipulated period has been disposed off.
The certified soft copies of APARS, physical fitness certificate and departmental DAR
clearance may also be sent through email: nfrgazselection2025@gmail.com by 18.07.2025
positively.
Tentative dates for viva-voce - 23.07.2025 and 24.07.2025. Candidates concerned
should be advised to keep themselves in readiness to appear in the viva-voce test.
