Sub: Vacancy position of Ticket Checking Staff in Indian Railways Keeping in view the vital role of Ticket Checking Staff in preventing unauthorized entry of passengers in station as well as on train, there is a need for proper manning of coaches as well as entry and exit points of railway stations. However, instances of certain coaches going unmanned due to non-availability of staff have been brought to the notice of this office. 2. With a view to assess the adequacy of manpower available for manning the trains as well as entry/exit points of Railway stations, it is desired that all Zonal Railways may please furnish vacancy position of Ticket Checking Staff, as per format enclosed, positively by 02.05.2025.
