Subject: Commercial Publicity & Advertisement - achievement of targets and action plan to enhance earnings - regarding Earnings from commercial publicity and advertisement constitute an important source of Non Fare Revenue. In the recent past, full powers have been delegated to General Managers/Divisional Railway Managers to award advertising contracts and implement new ideas. The introduction of e-auction has further improved the ease of doing business, _ asset digitization and awarding of commercial contracts in an efficient and transparent manner. E-auction platform has been progressively improved and new sub-categories have been introduced. Consequently, earnings from commercial publicity and advertisement have shown a progressive trend during the last two years. 2. The performance of your Zone, up to the end of Oct. 2024 was reviewed in Board's Office. Even after a lapse of seven months of the FY 2024-25 your Zone is yet to achieve its monthly target which is quiet disappointing. (Zone-wise performances are enclosed) 3. In this context, competent authority has desired that focused efforts should be made to look at ways to maximize NFR earnings individually and collectively in the remainder of this FY 2024-25. You are requested to give your personal attention to meet the FY 2024-25 targets. 4. Action plan to achieve the targets for the residuary period may kindly be formulated and sent to Board by 25.11.2024.
