Kindly refer to Board's letters mentioned above. According to Board's 
letter under reference (1) ODCs are divided into 3 classes according to the 
minimunm clearance available between the consignment and minimum fixed 
structure profile. 
Class 'A' (Permitted out of Gauge loads): Those ODC loads, which have 
gross clearance of 228.6 mm (9") and above. 
Class B' (Exceptional out of Gauge Loads): Those ODC loads, which have 
gross clearance of 152.4 mm (6") and above but less than 228.6 mm (9"). 
Class 'C (Extra-ordinary out of Gauge Loads): Those ODC loads, which 
have gross clearance of less than 152.4 mm (6") but not less than 101.6 mm(4").

As per Board's letter under reference (2) the following are the clearances 
P 
from contact wire for the passage of ODCs through electrified sections and the 
special restrictions required: 
) A special speed restriction is not required when the gross clearance is more 
than 250 mm. 
() Speed must be restricted to 15 kmph when the clearance is between 250 mm 
and 200 mm (ODC would not be stopped under critical locations i.e. where 
clearance is between 250 mm to 200 mm) 
ii) Speed must be restricted to 15 kmph and power to OHE must be switched 
off when the clearance from the contact wire is less than 200 mm. 
Nith regard to above, it is kindly requested that Movement of ODC be 
ensured as per the above mentioned Board's letters.
