(As per standard List). Sub:- Expansion of “Rail Post Gati Shakti - Joint Parcel Product Service” Ref : Letter to GMs No: No.2022/Plg(SPI)/2 dated 18 Nov 2022 1. With reference to the above letter, decisions of the Board to proliferate the JPP to different parts of the network, has been communicated along with the modus operandi and the implementation schedule on 18" Nov 2022 to all the GMs(Open Line). 2. Further to this, joint marketing meets were conducted in various parts of the country in 23 cities during Nov-Dec 2022, to create awareness of the product and to solicit views of the stakeholders. 3. Based on the inputs received crucial elements of Pricing, Timetable and the SoP between Railways and Posts have been finalized in January 2023 and now it has been decided to launch the Time Tabled Parcel Services with JPP, from 16™ February 2023. Copies of the issued circulars on Pricing, Timetable and SoP are attached as Annexures 1,2 and 3 respectively. 4. Palletization, Time tabled runs, End to End Logistic service, Single Documentation, Insurance cover, Prompt claims disposal, Cost effectiveness are the key elements of the JPP. 7. As parcel trains would be of full loads, with a portion of JPP and remaining non-JPP, all Zonal Railways need to intensify marketing efforts and coordination with Postal Authorities to ensure maximizing the payload in each of these circuits. The minutes of the Joint marketing meets with stakeholders during (Nov-Dec) 2022 is attached as Annexure 4. 8. Railways should ensure all full train formations of VPs/NMGHS are in place at respective originating and catchment stations and all issues of - train running, marketing, examination, addressed forthright and ensure successful commencement of JPP services from 16 Febru ary 2023. shunting, security, commercial aspects T
