Ref: CRB & CEO’s DO letters dated 04.08.2023 and 25.08.2023. ‘One Station One Product’ (OSOP) scheme aims to provide enhanced livelihood opportunities to local artisans, potters, wavers/handloom weavers, craftsmen etc, through provision of sale outlets at Railway Stations across the country. The implementation progress of this scheme is being monitored at the highest level. Division-wise targets for commissioning and operationalisation of OSOP outlets at 2241 stations in FY 2023-24 have already been communicated to Zones. As per the current status, 1187 no. of OSOP outlets at 1080 stations over Indian Railways have been made operational (Zone-wise details enclosed) against the above target. Wide publicity and outreach initiatives may be undertaken by Zonal Railways for enhanced visibility. Further proliferation of this scheme also needs to be earnestly monitored and expedited. I would like you to personally monitor the progress of fabrication and operationalisation of OSOP outlets over your Railway so that the targets are achieved on time.
