TYPES OF WAGONS PERMITTED FOR PRIVATE PROCUREMENT General Purpose Wagons (BOX, BOXN, BCN etc.) approved by RDSO to run over the routes approved by Indian Railways. Special Purpose Wagons (specially designed to carry specific commodity or a group of commodities) will not be covered under this scheme. APPLICABILITY OF THIS SCHEME This scheme shall be applicable exclusively on the wagons inducted under this scheme. Wagons inducted by investors prior to the commencement of this scheme shall not under any circumstances, be covered under this scheme. ELIGIBILITY Under this scheme the following shall be eligible to procure wagons.: (i) Producers or consumers of the goods to be transported by rail. (ii) | PSUs, Centr
