Sub: Necessary modalities have been incorporated in IRPSM portal- Gati shakti
and DRM priority works
Ref: (i) This office letter of even No. dated 19.07.2018, 30.09.2019, 14.10.2022 &
27.10.2022
(ii) Railway Board’s letter No. 221/W-I/Genl/Gati Shakti, dated 27.07.2022

1. Railway Board vide letter dated 19.07.2018 read with letter dated 30.09.2019, had issued
the ‘Procedure to be followed for Execution of Umbrella Works under different Plan Heads’.
2. Later on, Railway Board vide letters dated 14.10.2022, 27.10.2022 and 27.07.2022 has issued
various itstruction to expedite the execution of works.
3. In order to incorporate above, necessary modalities have been incorporated in IRPSM portal
and same will be available on the portal from Feb 3/2023, as under:
a. Work proposed by Divisional Gati Shakti Unit(s) requiring sanction of Railway Board
(under Gati Shakti Tag)
i. For processing of above Gati Shakti Proposal, Gati Shakti Tag has been incorporated
in the IRPSM web portal.
ii. | Under Gati-Shakti Tag, proposal will be sent directly to the Gati Shakti Unit/ nodal
Executive director of Railway Board with concurrence of the associate finance of the
Gati Shakti Unit of the division, and with the administrative approval of the General
Manager.

b. Work proposed by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) for sanction of Railway Board,
custing up to 10 Cr (under DRM Priority works Tag)

i. For processing of above work, as per Railway Board’s letter No. 2017/CE-
I/WP/2018-19/1pt dated 27.10.2022, DRM Priority Works tag has been created on
the IRPSM for proposal and on IREPS for tendering.

ii. | Under DRM Priority Works tag on IRPSM, proposal will be sent directly to the Nodal
Executive director of Railway Board with concurrence of associate finance of the
division and duly forwarded by General Manager on IRPSM portal.

iii. | DRM may go ahead with tendering process pending sanction of work by Railway
Board. However, acceptance letter shall be issued only after work is sanctioned by

Railway Board.
4. The existing procedure shall be followed for sanction of Works except for the cases mentioned
in Para: 28) & (b) above. पी, aot et
