With a view to further liberalize the GPWIS policy the following amendments are made in Policy : sO, कि + लि. 202 4p 0 Lo Page 1 of 3 Existing para in GPWIS policy (Chapter IV) 2. Loading in return direction by IR 2.1 If the rake is not loaded in the return direction Railways may load the same if traffic is available and rake is not available for loading on date. This only be permitted Railway owned loading will consequent to the loaded movement of the GPWIS rake by the end user 2.2 An amount equivalent to the freight rebate as applicable under this Scheme shall be determined at the time of preparation of RR and credited to the end-user and the same shall be reckoned for the purpose of calculating the quantum of rebate granted under the Scheme | the Scheme. Loading by IR 2.1 Railway may load the rake in empty direction if traffic is available and Railway-owned rake is not available for loading on date. 2.2 If the party has no pending indent for loading of the rake, Railway may use the rake for loading - with the consent of the party — if Railway-owned rake is not available for loading. For such loadings, one-time written consent (valid for one year) shall be taken from the party, which may be extended further for one year at a time. Such loading shall, however, be_ restricted to destinations within the Zones which are part of the approved circuit. 2.3 For the loading done under the provisions of sub para 2.1 and 2.2 above an amount equivalent to the freight rebate as applicable under this Scheme shall be determined at the time of preparation of RR and credited to the party and the same shall be reckoned for the purpose of calculating the quantum of rebate granted under This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
