even number dated 6.11.2001 wherein it has, inter-alia, been stated that the basic fare of
Premium Holiday Special trains will be rounded off to higher multiple of Rs. five after adding
other charges (.) The feed-back received from PRS indicate that there will be difficulties if
founding off is done at the final stage (.) IN PARTIAL MODIFICATION OF INSTRUCTIONS
CONTAINED _IN ABOVE TELEMAX, MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS HAVE DECIDED THAT THE
BASIC FARE FOR DIFFERENT CLASSES OF PREMIUM HOLIDAY SPECIAL TRAINS WILL BE ALL BE
10% HIGHER THAN THE MAIL/EXPRESS FARE NOTIFIED IN THE. ae THE FARE TABLE WHICH WILL
BE ROUNDED OFF TO NEXT HIGHER MULTIPLE OF RUPEES FIVE (INSTEAD OF ROUNDING
OFF AT THE FINAL STAGE) (.) THE SAFETY SURCHARGE, SUPERFAST SURCHARGE &
RESERVATION FEE (AS APPLICABLE) WILL BE LEVIED ADDITIONALLY (.) There is no other
change (.) This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Raitways
