The Chief Commercial Managers, J All Zonal Railways. - (Commercial Circular No.87 of 2002) Sub: Provision of seats/berths for TTE/Conductors. Please refer to this office fetter No. 83/TG.1/139/4 dated 6.8.1998 and 4001/TG-1/13/P dated 26.11.2001 wherein instructions have been issued regarding -earmarking of accommodation for TTE/Conductors in Mail/Express and Shatabdi Express trains. The matter has been further examined in this office and it has been decided that seats/berths may also be earmarked for TTE/Conductor in Rajdhani express trains, day journey trains and Jan Shatabdi express trains. ‘The consolidated position regarding seata/berthe to be earmarked for TTEs/Conductor in Mail/express irains, Rajdhani Express trains, Shatabdi Express trains, day JOtrney trains and Jan- Shatabdi Expreas trains is as under: 1. MaiVExpress trains. | (i) Berth No. 5 in A-1 Coach only for Conductor manning Ist AC/AC 2 . tier/Firat Class coaches. . ० di) ° Berth No. 7 in AS-i Coach onty for TTE manning AC 3 tier coaches. (ii) Berth No. 7 in alternate sleeper class coaches for TTEs manning Sleeper Class coaches. 2. Rajdhanl/August Kranti Rajdhanl Express trains. (i) Berth No. 5 in A-t Coach for TS manning Ist AC and 2°* AC Coaches. Gi) Berth No. 7 in AS-1, AS-3, AS-S & AS-7 coaches for Dy. TSs manning - AC» 2 tier/3-tier coaches subject to a maximum number of 4 berths. \ 3. Shatabdi Express trains. @) Seat No. 1 in Coach No, एन, 0-3, C-5 & C-7 coaches for TS/Dy. TS. Train Superintendent will occupy the scat in the coach adjacent to the executive class coach, ; . 2p — 221 ना ~ 2) 4, Jan Shatabdi Express and day journey trains. ‘ (i) Seat No. 1 in alternate second class coaches for ticket checking staff manning these coaches. (ii) Seat No. 1 in alternate Chair Car Coaches. (iii) In case composite coach is attached, seat No. 1 in Chair Car portion of the composite coach should: invariably be earniarked for the ticket checking staff. Deon The total number of berths to be utilised by TTE/Conductor in a train shall, however, be equal to the number of such staff travelling in the train.
