As per extant instructions, following accommodation is eannarked under Tatkal Scheme in different classes: - 2) Keeping in view the utilisation of Tstkal Scheme in various trains the matter regarding extent of Tatlr..alaccommodation to be eannarked in different trains has been reviewed and it has been decided that:- i) In those trains where average utilisation of Tatkal accommodation earmarked in sleeper class is more than 80%, the same should be enhanced to 30% of the available accommodation; ii) In those trains where although the average utilisation of Tatkal accommodation is less than 80% yet there is demand during -~/- My DoeumeDtllTatkallLettlr2006 12 - 86- Number of berths to be earmarked iD Class traiDs with averaa:e occupaDCYlevel ot Less than 80°At More than 800/0 2A 4 berths per 10 berths per coach I coach I 3A 6 berths per 16 berths per coach coach I Air Conditioned 6 seats per coach 16 seats per Chair Car coach Sleeper Class 10% of 20% of the available accommodation or accommodation. one coach whichever is less. .L.- cer~inspecific periods, Tatkal accommodation to be eannarked during such identifiedspecific periods win be as tUlder:.' . ~ Note: Such periods will be identified by the Zonal Railways.
